NEW EQUIPMENT ON BOARD

Have you ever wondered how you're contributing to the world? Or what you're doing to create change in society? A group of young Colombians has come together to provide tangible answers to these questions. Finding a path to recognition of their culture and the elements that shape their identity is now the common denominator of eleven dynamic minds who want to improve the reality of Colombia's forgotten indigenous community, the Wayúu.

The Hilo Sagrado Foundation, led by Natalia, Emilia, and Ana María, unveils its new image and the embodiment of the drive and creativity of an entire team. Since 2013, thanks to its founder, Italian Sabrina Prioli, the foundation began working to preserve the culture and traditions of indigenous peoples by creating a sustainable social business where women crafted handcrafted products based on traditional practices.

Currently, the continuity of this initiative is being woven from Bogotá, Berlin, and Washington by a team united not only by motivation and a desire for change, but also by a commitment to social responsibility and transforming ideas into action. The Sacred Thread Foundation is rescuing the beauty of a culture, translated into the magic of its traditions and reflected in everything they do. It is important to revisit the origins of traditional elements, but above all, to recognize the invaluable contribution of the Wayuu culture to the world.
