We are pleased to share the article from the newspaper La República This article discusses the importance of our Glow With the Flow project for Wayúu women. Specifically, it empowers women to live their menstrual cycles with dignity by having access to necessary hygiene products and being able to continue their daily activities instead of isolating themselves from the community. It will also combat extreme poverty by becoming microentrepreneurs. The goal of the Glow With the Flow project is to build a workshop for 16 women from the Wayúu community so they can learn to make their own underwear for their periods and thus become free and independent women.
